Let ballet seduce you…

I started modelling while I was still in ballet school. Even then, I knew I didn’t quite fit. I loved the structure and the discipline — but I also craved something more expressive, more playful, more real. I was known as the naughty ballerina— the one who pushed things a little too far, asked a few too many questions, refused to behave.

By 18, I was doing nude photoshoots. It just made sense to me — to strip away everything and still be dancing. I loved how the camera could capture a single line or gesture, the tension in a hand, the story in stillness. It felt like performance, but also like something more personal.

I knew early on I couldn’t survive in a traditional company. The politics, the hierarchy, the pressure to be silent and small — it didn’t suit me. I started performing and modelling freelance. Then one day, a cabaret company was looking for a topless ballerina. I said yes. That one show turned into another, and then another. Soon I was performing in clubs, at private events, in galleries and salons — finding more freedom in each show.

I started creating my own acts — pointe work mixed with striptease, rope, storytelling, humour. People responded. The bookings grew. I couldn’t take every job, so I began bringing in other dancers. We started creating acts together, building our own costumes, styling our own shoots, and putting on our own performances.

That’s how Bella’s Ballerinas began. Not from a business plan, but from movement. From desire. From the simple act of choosing to do things our own way.

What We Do

Bella’s Ballerinas is a company of classically trained dancers who perform a hybrid of ballet and burlesque — sometimes nude, sometimes sheer, always honest. We create live performances, photography workshops, private shows, and immersive events across the UK and Europe.

Our work blends elegance with eroticism, stillness with strength, intimacy with spectacle. Sometimes we dance on pointe. Sometimes in heels. Sometimes barefoot, tangled in rope or lit by a single bulb. But every performance starts from the same place: the body, and everything it can express.

Why We Exist

I built this company to give dancers what I never had — a space where we can be sensual, bold, strange, and powerful without being shamed for it.

We don’t force work on anyone. Every dancer chooses what they do. The shoots and performances we take on are carefully selected — no soulless jobs, no overworked schedules, no bullshit. We make sure our dancers are paid well, treated well, and looked after. We provide proper meals, private changing space, secure venues, and taxis home. These things should be standard. For us, they are.

We welcome all genders, all bodies, all sexualities — on stage and in the audience. We’re not trying to exclude anyone. We love men. We love women. We love anyone who wants to be part of something beautiful, real, and a little bit seductive.

Bella’s Ballerinas is about reclaiming space. Not just for dancers — but for desire, for movement, for the kind of performance that doesn’t fit neatly in a category.

We’re not perfect. We’re not traditional. But we are ours.
And we’re only just getting started.
